About Covington County Court Docket

Covington County court records are held by different courts and clerks, not by one universal county docket. Circuit, Chancery, Justice, and municipal cases follow separate routes. This private reference resource gathers official starting points for finding a docket, a court date, or a clerk-held record in Mississippi.

Why We Built This Site

Finding the right court record can be harder than the first search suggests. The Thirteenth Circuit Court District, the Chancery Clerk, Justice Court, city courts, and Mississippi Electronic Courts each have different responsibilities. Melissa Duckworth, Covington County Circuit Clerk, is the local records contact for Circuit Court papers such as lawsuits, indictments, motions, judgments, and related filings. PAMEC is the paid remote public-access route for available non-restricted MEC records, while the 13th Circuit calendar is a public schedule rather than a full case search.

The goal is to make those distinctions clear before someone sends a request to the wrong office. Official courts and clerks retain custody of their own records and determine access, copies, certification, and current settings.

What You Will Find Here

The reference material is organized around the local route that matches the record type.

What We Cannot Do

Covington County Court Docket is privately operated and has no connection to a Mississippi court, clerk, or agency. Only the court or clerk with the original record can make an official records decision.

  • We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file.
  • We cannot change, reset, or schedule a court appearance.
  • We cannot remove, seal, expunge, or amend a court record.
  • We cannot issue a certified copy of a docket, order, or filing.
  • We cannot give legal advice about a particular matter.
  • We cannot guarantee that a published contact detail, fee, or setting remains current.

Official and certified records must come from the clerk or court that holds the original file. A court calendar is not a substitute for a docket sheet or order.

Search Partners

Some pages include search tools operated by third-party providers. Those providers control their own services, prices, results, and terms. A paid sign-up through a tool may generate a referral fee that supports the resource. The reference material does not control those services or their results.
